I purchased these filters after getting my hands on my new Sony Camcorder. I had previously purchased another Tiffen filter set here for my Sony FD97 with great results. This set gives me all the flexability I need, at a very resonable price. If you're thinking about a filter set, I HIGHLY reccomend this set. You can't go wrong.
Description of Tiffen 37mm Deluxe 3 Filter Kit

The kit--which includes an ultraviolet filter, a neutral density 0.6 filter, and an FL-D filter--is an ideal accessory for photographers with 37mm lenses. The ultraviolet filter prevents UV light from reaching the lens, helping increase clarity and reduce haze. As a result, your photos look crystal clear even in mountainous and coastal areas, where ultraviolet light is particularly strong. The neutral density 0.6 filter, meanwhile, provides balanced exposures and depth-of-field control, eliminating overly bright, washed-out images. Great for video, the neutral density filter works for all film types, whether color or black and white. Finally, the FL-D filter--which is designed for daylight-corrected media--provides pleasing skintones and corrects color under fluorescent lighting.
