This bottom board is perfect for the F2. It gives a nice rigidity with just enough cushion to keep your gear from clattering when you set it down. --But this insert has another, often overlooked, feature as well. Due to the very heavy-duty puncture-proof rubberized waterproof underside, this thing makes a perfect knee pad!
On a recent photo shoot in the Sonoran desert, I couldn't tell you how many times I used my bottom board while zooming in on some obscure cactus flower on the desert floor... Just slipped it out of the bottom of my bag and plopped it down on the ground and... there you go. Perfect knee cushion.
Get one. Your knees will thank you.
